I set up Hunter Devine Architects as a design-led architecture studio to specialise in residential projects, light-touch adaptive reuse of existing buildings, and the assessment of infill sites.

My goal is to create high-quality projects that excite, inspire, and delight - and to help clients achieve their dream home. Collaboration is at the heart of everything I do - with flexible services tailored to your exact needs.

I focus on building relationships with my clients to get a deep understanding of what their project specifically requires and provide advice at every step of the way.

I provide a truly beginning-to-end service and can take care of your entire project; from feasibility and concept, to planning and technical design, right the way through to tendering and on-site monitoring.

HUNTER DEVINE

Architect & Certified Passive House Designer | ARB, RIBA, AA Dip.

Hunter is a RIBA Chartered Architect and Certified Passive House Designer with extensive experience across a wide range of residential and commercial projects. He set up Hunter Devine Architects to provide a highly collaborative, personal approach to architectural design with a focus on building relationships and a deep understanding of people and place.

He has experience delivering complex and unique designs to a high standard through creative solutions and an in-depth knowledge of construction and is committed to the adaptive re-use and retrofit of existing buildings.

In his previous roles, Hunter worked on a variety of high-profile, award-winning commercial and residential projects from concept to completion, such as the nHouse and the Gramophone Works.

Hunter studied at the Architectural Association (RIBA Part I & Part II) where he received a Distinction for his final thesis and was nominated for several awards, including the Dennis Sharp Writing Award and the Pozner Prize for best drawing. He also holds a Postgraduate degree in Architecture Professional Practice (RIBA Part III) from the University of Westminster.
